Meet Lori

Lori Bixler’s real estate career began in 2009, and she currently works out of John L. Scott’s Bellevue-Issaquah office. Before starting her full-time broker career, she worked for WRQ Inc., one of the world’s largest privately-held software companies. At WRQ, she served as director over global departments focused on mastering process and negotiations. With this experience, the move to become a broker was a natural fit, as Lori is a pro at working with people from all cultures and walks of life.

Lori’s passion is helping people. Whether working with a first-time home buyer, or seasoned veteran of buying and selling, her goal is to educate her clients so they’re well-equipped to make informed decisions about their real estate transactions. Her clients appreciate Lori’s ability to listen to their goals, articulate the real estate process, set the proper expectations of their real estate adventure and also her frequent communication of the status of their transaction from beginning to end.

As a Northwest native and a member of John L. Scott’s relocation team, Lori is an expert on the area, providing valuable information to clients making a move. She also earned the designation of Certified Negotiation Expert from the Real Estate Negotiation Institute, and is a strong negotiator in all situations. Lori often helps clients with condos, single and multiple-family homes. She is most familiar with Issaquah, Bellevue, Sammamish, Maple Valley, Renton, Kirkland and Seattle, but has done a lot of work in Snohomish County as well.

Lori’s success in marketing homes comes from her approach centered around complete and accurate listing data details. She steers clear of buzzwords, and emphasizes the positive feelings she gets from a home when she writes about it for the MLS listing. Lori’s detailed descriptions of the property also includes captions to accompany each photo. These descriptions helps buyers better understand each property’s great features and has helped gain her a reputation amongst other brokers for accurate and detailed listing info.

In Lori’s spare time, she enjoys taking care of animals, including supporting Old Dog Haven, a nonprofit focused on helping senior dogs find loving homes. Lori loves spending time with her family and exploring the Northwest with her husband.
